Any suggestions?

In all charity, I am asking for your suggestions for improvements to a certain person's (?) educational institution chapel. I post this not to complain, but to seriously look for solutions. I've complained far too much! The Mother of God looks quite cold...

Flowers would be a start. And votive candles for Our Lady.

If the silvery box on the right is the tabernacle, then a hanging sanctuary lamp is in order.

Tile works wonders.
It's also expensive. Beyond flowers and candles, how much are people willing to spend on it? Enough for a really touching statue? What about stone walls?

I think it should have a discoball instead of a sanctuary lamp, don juanito...

Well, just sing a Te Deum that you have an altar and lecturn... and then start on the flowers and candles thing. And pray. And pray more. And carry on praying...

Ahem... not that I'm bitter...
